We’re excited to introduce practices: CIS Manager now gives every accountancy firm a home of its own.
Your practice carries your firm’s name and holds every client’s CIS organisation. It’s how CIS Manager now works when you run CIS for clients: one firm, all of its clients, rather than a collection of separate businesses you happen to have access to.
Your Team, Across Every Client
Anyone you add to your practice can work on every client automatically, including the clients you take on next month. No more adding each colleague to each client one at a time, and no more being stuck when someone’s off and nobody else has access.
Your clients’ own staff see their own business and nothing else. You can invite someone to the whole practice or to a single client, so a client’s bookkeeper can enter their invoices without seeing the rest of your book.
One Set of Agent Credentials
Your practice’s HMRC Government Gateway agent credentials are held once, by the practice, and every client files with them. A new client is ready to file from day one. If your firm works with more than one set, your practice can hold them all.
Because the credentials belong to the practice rather than to one person, your clients’ returns keep going in when a member of staff moves on.
When a Client Moves On
Clients come and go. When one leaves, they take their CIS organisation with them, cleanly: subcontractors, payments and returns all go with them. You choose which of your team keep access, and you can hand ownership over to the client at the same time. Your practice’s credentials stay with you.
Getting Started
If you’re new to CIS Manager, sign-up asks whether you’re a practice running CIS for clients and sets you up as one from the start.
If you already run CIS for clients here, there’s nothing to set up: we’re moving you onto a practice automatically, and we’ll just ask you to give it your firm’s name.
Pricing hasn’t changed.
